IVF Vibration Isolation Solutions

Supertech Instruments now launched a new line of products for IVF setups, developed together with microscopy specialists, IVF experts and end users.

We offer the following categories of IVF anti-vibration solutions for every type of setup and budget.

STable Basics I: Damping Plate

Damping Plates are elastomer-based vibration isolators for such applications, which do not require high level of vibration attenuation. They can be put onto any given table. The microscope is standing on its top. The other parts of the IVF setup could be arranged around it. We manufacture the Damping Plates in two fixed sizes.

Height: 90 mm

Nominal mass load: 300 N

Absolute maximal overload: 600 N

Elastomer-based Damping Plate 75 x 50 cm

Height: 90 mm

Nominal mass load: 500 N

Absolute maximal overload: 1 kN

The top surface of the Damping Plate is a thick painted carbon steel plate by default. As an option it can be ordered with stainless steel top surface to be able to sanitize and sterilize. For the sake of cleanability there are no holes on the top surface.

STable Basics II: Workstation with Embedded Damping Plate

This product is a strong and rigid steel table with an Elastomer-based Damping Plate in its middle. There are two shelves on the left and the right side of the Damping Plate. The shelves are made of special magnetic stainless steel. The joystick units of the manipulators can be fixed on the shelves with magnetic or gravitational (big mass) stands. The front side of the shelves are covered with white plexiglas to provide a comfortably warm feeling for the hands of the user. We manufacture STable Basics II workstation in two sizes, according to the two different sizes of Damping Plates. The Small version employs a 60 x 40 cm Damping Plate, while the Big version employs a 75 x 50 cm Damping Plate.

STable Alpha I: Elastomeric Vibration Isolation Table with Side Shelves

This product is a slightly modified, task-oriented version of our standard STable Active Pneumatic Vibration Isolation Table. There are specifically designed elastomeric vibration isolation elements built into the leg system (in other words support) of the STable Alpha One table. This vibration isolation method does not provide such high level of vibration attenuation as the pneumatic vibration isolators, but in most cases it is enough for IVF application. We have developed an upgradeable version, as well. The upgrade means: on-site changing of the elastomer isolator elements for active pneumatic isolators.

Technical data and special features of the STable Alpha One table are:

- Size of the top plate is 980 x 660 mm.

- The top plate is covered with a highly resistant stainless steel plate, without any hole on it. The internal structure is made of carbon steel.

- Optionally a full stainless steel top plate (even the internal structure) can also be ordered.

- The whole top assembly is sanitizable and sterilizable. This aspect is the reason, why there are no holes at all on the top.

- Maximum mass load of the elastomer set (4 pieces together): 2 kN, including the top plate

- There are two arm rests, one on the front and one at the back side of the table.

- The arm rests are covered with stainless steel.

- There are two side shelves lain on the arm rests. The side shelves are made of special magnetic stainless steel. The shelves are slideable laterally on the arm rests, so they can be fitted to any microscope model. The joystick units of the manipulators can be fixed on the shelves with magnetic or gravitational (big mass) stands. The top side of the side shelves on the front are covered with white plexiglas to provide a comfortably warm feeling for the hands of the user. Below in the first two pictures the shelves are slid together and in the third picture the shelves are slid away from each other.

STable Alpha II: Pneumatic Vibration Isolation Table with Shelves

This product is also a modified, task-oriented version of our standard STable Active Pneumatic Vibration Isolation Table. All its technical data is equal to STable Alpha One, respectively. The only, but important difference is, that STable Alpha Two is assembled with active pneumatic vibration isolation system. This sophisticated vibration isolation method provides excellent anti-vibration performance, even in the presence of high level of vibration disturbances in the lab environment.
